Gate Delta — generated scripts
Gate Delta is where the test scripts you manage in QualityMax become continuous checks. On every PR it fetches the project’s automation scripts, keeps the ones whose framework matches what Gamma detected for the repository (Go, Rust, or pytest), and runs up to ten of them in isolated cloud sandboxes.
What runs
Section titled “What runs”- Scripts you created through the QualityMax UI or via MCP (
add_script_to_framework) - Filtered by framework — a
go_testscript runs on Go repos, apytestscript on Python repos - Capped at ten scripts per PR, executed via the native runners
Adding a script to a project’s test framework automatically makes it a Delta check on future PRs — there is no separate CI wiring. Execution results are recorded per run, attributed to the Delta gate, and visible in the project’s execution history.
Soft by design
Section titled “Soft by design”Delta failures are soft warnings (action_required), never hard blocks. Generated tests can have false positives — a brittle selector, an environment assumption — and QualityMax does not let an AI-authored test single-handedly block a human’s merge. When a Delta script fails repeatedly for a real reason, the fix is to promote the coverage: address the bug, or repair the script so the signal is trustworthy.
When Delta skips
Section titled “When Delta skips”- Test execution is turned off in Test Framework settings (same toggle as Gamma)
- The project has no scripts matching the detected framework
- Gamma found no supported framework — Delta uses the same classification
